Situated on a 204h property we have converted the original farm site into a fully fenced child friendly camping area for families and groups. There is an 11 bed bunkroom, fully equiped kitchen, mens and womans showers and toilets, WM, Recreation hall , Free view TV, DVD, large grassed area, large patio, Gas heater, BBQ, Outdoor fire, BMX track, plenty of room for tents, farm walks and is directly accross the road to the sea.

PLEASE NOTE: This campsite is only booked out to one group at a time so if you book it there will not be other people staying with you.

Like most of the other coastal camping grounds in Kaikoura the train runs nearby. Kids love waving to the train and its passengers by day but it does take the first night to get use to sleeping so near to them.

This facility is owned by Wai-ora Trust and we have a booking system in place. Booking forms will be sent upon a request for hire.


Great views of the ocean and private farm walks; Loads of room for the kids to play in a safe fenced area. 11 bed bunkroom and an open plan hall (9m X 6m) which also has a lounge suite, TV, DVD area.

Great diving directly accross the road, 10 minutes to surfing at Maungamanu.
